Outdoor cinema at Barcarès!
18 Aug 20In the heart of the Lydia Gardens, the Barcarès studio which opened its doors on Wednesday with its wild west shows (from 6 pm to 2 am) now offers the "drive-in" with daily screenings. The 200 m2 screen is now ready to welcome spectators. The first screening originally scheduled for Wednesday had been delayed due to the strong wind. This Saturday, place at the cinema in XXL version.
"It is the largest screen under construction in France", as confirmed by Anna Philippon, who with her husband Axel is a film producer and associated with Jacques Font in the organization of this event. This Saturday evening, from 6.30 p.m., the drive-in car park of the Barcarès studio located in the Lydia Gardens will finally be able to open its doors. On the program of this first broadcast: "Once upon a time in the West". A great class that will celebrate this first. An event postponed twice because of Tramontana. The show can begin.
On the practical side, located in place of the Ferris wheel at the Christmas Market, the drive-in has a capacity of 200 cars. An FM frequency will be allocated every evening, inside the vehicles. Stations will also be available for vehicles that are not equipped with a car radio. A window wash and battery boosters are also provided to overcome any problems.
Remember that admission to Barcarès Studio until September 6, from 12 p.m. to 2 a.m., is free.
Drive-in price (film starts at 9:30 p.m.): € 9 for adults. € 4 for children and € 7 for nursing staff on presentation of proof.
